Kristi Galbraith – Art Director / Graphic Designer / Writer
Kristi, the company founder, has nearly 20 years of experience in the design industry. She wears many hats, is a native of Portland, graduated from Lincoln High School, and has a B.S. in Graphic Design from Portland State University, 1990. Her design talent has earned Red Studio industry awards as well as an acclaimed reputation in the area. Kristi has an infectious laugh that can be heard throughout the Avenue Lofts and down 14th Avenue.
Gregg Galbraith – Photographer / Digital Specialist / Writer
Gregg is a principal owner and has been a professional photographer for more than 30 years. His photographs have appeared in several Northwest magazines and newspapers, including Explore the Pearl. He has a B.A. in Economics from Central Washington State University, 1973. Anyone who knows Gregg well has at least one memory that involves Jack Daniels.
Heidi Jackson – Graphic Designer / Production Artist
Before joining us in 2006, Heidi already had two years of experience working in the OSU RecSports department as Graphic Designer & Marketing Supervisor. She has a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Oregon State University, with a minor in Art History, 2006. Her design styles range from fresh & vibrant to clean & professional. And she many be small in size, but she packs a punch with her creative input and is getting the reputation of being able take down almost any harassment the boys might throw her way.
Amber Matheny – Office / Production Manager
Amber is the newest addition to the Red Studio team. She has already implemented new project organization skills that are keeping the rest of the creatives on track. Amber has a B.S. in Merchandising Management from Oregon State University, as well as a BS in Apparel Design, 2003. She works closely with clients and vendors to get estimates prepared, copy proofed and keeps all our jobs on schedule and on budget. Our clients will start to see her creative side come into play over the course of 2008, after she gets done whipping us all into shape.
Jay Verburg – Web Development Specialist
Jay has 15 years of graphic design and web development experience. His focus in web development has become his forte, earning him accolades from his industry peers. Adhering to strict industry standards and applying the latest, most efficient technology to his sites has aided in earning a good local reputation in the web community. Jay is the comic of the group and is one of the reasons why Kristi is always laughing.
Mike Botsko – Database / Web Engineer
Mike brings 10 years of development expertise in php, xml, and more. He makes the content in our client portals flow smoothly, and hidden content in database-driven sites appear seamless. He fills the position of Uber-geek in our group – taking our creative visions and applying them to multiple systems and servers.
Erik Dodd – Videographer / Sound Specialist
Erik brings motion and music to the Red Studio team, offering film, video and audio production. He holds a B.A. Cum Laude from the University of Utah, 1994, and frequents both Portland and Salt Lake Cities for his diverse client base. He shoots, edits, and composes music for movies, commercials, web-based video and flash animation. At 6′4″, Erik also takes us up a notch in height, at least until he meets with one of Gregg’s drinks.
Kate Verburg – Writer
Although Kate is no longer working in our office, she does appear now and then for some small writing jobs, and the occasional happy hour. She is currently in process of writing a biography for one of our favorite clients, so we are trying not to distract her from the task at hand. In the mean time, we have a few select freelance writers we may be pulling in for any larger writing jobs.
